PROTON announced the appointment of Ainol Azmil as covering Deputy Chief Executive Officer, reporting directly to Dr Li Chunrong, Chief Executive Officer of PROTON, effective 10 June 2025. Concurrently, he will continue to serve his existing portfolio in Corporate Strategy and Group Technical Procurement.
Mr Ainol will be covering the role of Roslan Abdullah, who is leaving after serving five years as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer where he helped Proton reinforced its position as the prominent brand in Malaysia while also entering the EV market with its first product, the Proton e.MAS 7.
