EON wins Multiple Awards at the Proton Global Conference 2026

Edaran Otomobil Nasional (“EON”) Berhad, a subsidiary of DRB-HICOM Berhad, has clinched an impressive seven accolades at the 2026 Proton Global Conference & Awards. This achievement recognises its outstanding performance, leadership, and unwavering commitment to excellence across sales and customer experience in automotive retail.

During the recent award ceremony which was held at M Resort & Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, EON was named Best Corporate Sales Proton 2025 Award, recognising the company’s success in delivering tailored mobility solutions to corporate clients and strengthening the Proton’s brand presence in the business-to-business (“B2B”) segment.

EON also demonstrated strong retail and group-wide performance by securing the Proton Edar Highest Sales Volume (Group Dealership) Award, underscoring its dominance in overall sales achievements across its nationwide dealership network.

In the electric mobility segment, EON continued to excel with multiple accolades, including the Proton e.MAS Grand Award – Platinum for the highest e.MAS sales in 2025 at the Glenmarie outlet, as well as the Proton e.MAS Best Sales Volume Award, reflecting the company’s leadership in driving adoption of Proton’s electric vehicle lineup.

Further reinforcing its retail excellence, EON received the Proton Edar Grand Award – Diamond for its Damansara outlet, recognising outstanding showroom performance, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.

EON’s commitment to nurturing top talent was highlighted when a representative from its Glenmarie outlet won the Best Sales Advisor for Proton e.MAS Award, a testament to the professionalism, product knowledge, and customer-centric approach of EON’s frontline team.

The evening also saw EON Berhad’s Chief Executive Officer, Akkbar Danial, honoured with the CEO Award for 2025, recognising his exemplary leadership, strategic vision, and contribution to elevating standards within the automotive retail sector.

Joining EON Berhad in 2021, Akkbar Danial brings with him over 20 years of automotive leadership and industry expertise. While helming EON, the company has implemented innovative marketing initiatives, strengthened customer engagement, and driven operational excellence across its dealerships nationwide.
